World-Class Hotels at the Heart of Kuwait

The first ever hotel in Kuwait was inaugurated in 1947. Named “Shirin”, the hotel was located in Safat Square in Kuwait City, offering basic hospitality services at a mere rate of 30 Rupees a night, including meals. Ever since, luxury hotels, international chains and unique concepts have chosen Kuwait as their home, providing a unique experience to local guests, as well as leisure and business tourists.

Five of these hotels drove the establishment of the Kuwait Hotel Owners Association (KHOA) to help regulate this rather new sector and ensure everyone enjoys all what it has to offer. Today, our members benefit of KHOA’s online reporting system and much more!
