Kuwait International Airport comprises five terminals. Airlines fly into specific terminals, so please ensure you are aware of the terminal of your arrival and departure. All terminals are fully serviced with food and beverage choices, duty free, retail stores, and offices for telecommunication operators which are: Zain, Ooredoo and STC.
Terminal 1 is the primary building at Kuwait International Airport from which international airlines operate. It has 16 gates, restaurants, a duty free, business lounges, currency exchange and bank services.

Presently under construction, Terminal 2 will be the main terminal of Kuwait International Airport, expanding its capacity to thirteen million passengers a year through the introduction of a triangular building with 28 gates, 4,500 additional parking spaces and a 400-bed airside hotel. The terminal is due for completion in 2022.

Named the Sheikh Saad General Aviation Terminal and developed for use by private aircraft, Terminal 3 is a small building currently operated exclusively by Dubai-based low-cost carrier, flydubai. Terminal 3 is temporary under renovation and flydubai is operating out of Terminal 1.

Terminal 4 is the exclusive terminal for all flights operated by Kuwait's national carrier, Kuwait Airways. It covers 55,000 square meters and has a capacity of over five million passengers annually. Terminal 4 has 2,450 car parking spaces, restaurants and coffee shops, a duty free, retail shops, business lounges, currency exchange and bank services.

Terminal 5 is the exclusive terminal for all flights operated by Kuwait-based budget airline Jazeera Airways. Terminal 5 offers a fast travel experience with 350 car parking spaces, restaurants and coffee shops, a duty free, retail shops, a business lounge, currency exchange and bank services.
